Unveiling One of the Greatest Financial Injustices in Jamaica’s History

Between the late 1980s and early 2000s, Jamaica underwent a dramatic economic restructuring process. At the heart of this transformation was the Financial Sector Adjustment Company (FINSAC), a government-established entity created to rescue and stabilize failing financial institutions. But behind this public mandate lay a deeper, darker reality—a web of questionable takeovers, suppressed voices, and the destruction of countless lives and businesses.

The FINSAC Conspiracy is more than just a financial episode—it is a story of economic warfare, corporate betrayal, and a silent suffering endured by hundreds of Jamaican entrepreneurs, homeowners, and small business owners who were labeled as “debtors” and stripped of their assets without due process.

Many of these so-called debtors insist they had already fulfilled their obligations—or were forced into default by shifting terms, skyrocketing interest rates, and aggressive collection practices. FINSAC, in partnership with foreign advisors and local banks, swept in to liquidate properties and businesses at a fraction of their worth, often selling them to insiders. The result was generational loss, emotional trauma, and widespread distrust of the very institutions meant to protect the people.

This website exists to break the silence.
